I have the 3ft hydro cabinet and I added a 138w led ufo. I have a few questions:
1.Has anyone grown seed to bud in the 3ft box? If so, how many plants and how did it turn out?
2. If I wanted to use the cabinet for all stages, how many plants do you recommend I grow out of the 6 sites? And would scrog training be best for largest yield?
3. Will the 138w led provide enough light per plant for the recommended amount?
4. If you recommend to transplant them to a taller cabinet, when would I transfer them?
That’s all for now! I look forward to some replies
Thanks!March 8, 2015 at 6:20 pm #1020
You will have great results with the led light in the box, do 3 plants for best yieyield possible, or end up with 3 females if have regular seed.
Just be careful or will outgrow box, switch from 18 on to 12 on when halfway up box.March 8, 2015 at 9:10 pm #1021

No bud your good to go, no need to water cubes any more they look a little oversaturated besides that normal, takes few days to sprout so nothing wrong , at this point at least. Keep us postedMarch 9, 2015 at 7:15 pm #1031
thanks man i sure am glad i got some help lol. but i did what i was told and put a pinch of nutrients in it so is that going to harm them or should i flush?March 9, 2015 at 10:22 pm #1033
Possibly but if was very little it be fine. Flat teaspoon in gallon of water on the side when get 2″ pour 1\8 cup into basin every 4-6 days it be good.March 12, 2015 at 8:54 am #1051

Odd their still that small although led does produce denser thick growth all the way thru instead of tall skinny , autoflowers? Could be why if so besides that, I’d lower water levels slightly cubes look to moistMarch 13, 2015 at 2:39 pm #1062
I had my water touching the cubes i hope thats my problem bc its been around 2 weeks now but i still believe once i figure out how to do it its going to work good but their female crown royale .March 15, 2015 at 7:59 pm #1070

If say good to go now! Then should really start taking off, just don’t overdo it when in small growth stages.March 19, 2015 at 7:28 pm #1093

How many times do i feed my plants a week? or DAY?March 20, 2015 at 2:17 pm #1097
HERE is what it looked like before i added another air pump and changed my water i also added another fan now what i covered the holes and sprayed it to try to get it to come a lil clean

I feel bad had to go out and get more parts it wasn’t the air pump always use them even in bigger up to 10 gallons this is only 5 gal. Anyway , main thing here is water looks to low, I screwed up too when I left it unwatered for few days got junky quick, make sure levels are touching the bottom of net pots. Use algaecide if anything or let me know I can have some sent to u but they should have it at local pet store. For now , dump and change and refill water, with small amount of nutrients.
Algae can build up from few things need more water and best way to prevent is cover whichever holes you are not using to grow in. Will cause algaeMarch 21, 2015 at 11:03 pm #1108
Yeh your good to go if covered holes! Sorry missed that part. Algaecide couldn’t hurt to keep handy some other people use small amount of hydrogen peroxide also very small amount. Kills algae keeps clean like few teaspoon every few weeksMarch 23, 2015 at 10:21 pm #1130
What’s best to cover the remaining holes with?March 23, 2015 at 10:59 pm #1131
Anything will work, couple pieces of dark paper or tape, just so excess light doesn’t blast in will help a ton if ever get algae
